The hunter paid good money to go on a legal lion hunt. IF the lion (only IF) it was a local "pet", it should fall on the head of the PH with all of this bad publicity. Even though no laws were broken, the public eye should still be considered. How a "pet" could get lured from a park that he's lived in for years is beyond me. If he left the park to go eat a dead animal, he doesn't sound like much of a pet to me. IMHO

Yeah, I talked to the Carl @ the game and fish.. He highly advises to not drive anywhere near the boundry and limit scouting as much as possible. I always walk my own road too but this hunt is different. You bust them back in the park and you can have a 3 week hunt without a single buffalo to hunt... I am learning all this now, so I don't want to sound like an expert. BUT When the G&F insists you don't scout, I would consider it. Its amazing to me to think 1 guy out of 10 can ruin the hunt for everyone.
