I live @ 59th and Bell.. I will keep an eye out for these dirt bags. This has always been the way people (that don't want confrontation) rob houses. That said, if I leave my kids alone at the house and somebody knocks, I've instructed them to go by the door and yell DAD, THERE'S SOMEONE AT THE DOOR!! Pay attention to people that look surprised when the door gets opened or someone that asks a wierd question when you answer. This was happening my neck of the woods in CA. I hope they find these POS's. Such a crappy feeling to have your privacy invaded.

So whats up with Kuiu?? My wife had a full cart and of course, all of the items were on Back order. Which I am okay with, but apparently this BIG 25% off sale doesn't apply to anything on back order!!??? WHat the heck, how does that make sense? The sale SHOULD read, "25% off of all the crap nobody buys anyway"!! Anyone else deal with this?? Just out of principle, First Lite, here I come..

I have a few items up for sale. With the whole family starting to hunt, need to get them geared up. This means some of Dad's stuff thats not being used will need to go. 1st up is "Ol' Faithful".. This is a Remington Model 788 chambered in .308. This is a sought out rifle for benchrest shooters. It has been taking deer for my family since 1978. Lots of memories with it (even has a notch on stock from my dad's first deer) but I feel it's time to make a few memories for someone else. Don't really want to sell but we just don't use it anymore. It has some blemishes on the stock, but barrel, bolt, and trigger are clean. Want to sell for $600.00 2nd up is a brand new Rifle Railz and Loc Jaw Combo. Never mounted. NIB. Green color. Want to get $140.00 3rd up is my BowTech Tech 29. 70lb limbs with 29" draw. Has fall away rest & 5 pin truglo sight. Bought in 2000 I think. Hey Folks, I wanted to hear some opinions on this. Forever, I've always thought a .223 was not a suitable deer round. Reason being, one hole and not a very big one at that. I understand that a .223 will KILL the deer, but I want a big enough blood trail to FIND the deer afterwards. Well, my daughter has a deer tag. She is not quite ready for the .308 and I do not own a .243 so that leaves me with the Bolt Action .223.. I was thinking I could go and find the heaviest .223 bullet I could find (69 grains) and maybe that will slow it down enough and create enough KE to knock a deer down. While I know it would not exactly be preferred, I am curious if others have had experience shooting deer with a .223.. Thanks in advance.
