Oh the pain.... Texts like that sure do make you hate where you are, esspecially if you are at work.... I have the same thing going on with 2 of my buds.... I am about to shoot myself.. I try to have a little fun with it though, text them back....... "Another miss????" "SShhhh, look behind you" and my personal fav... "Man, you have the wind all F'd up, pull yourself together man!!"

The pic from the top is my favorite..... I love how it dwarfs the 50 story across the way..

My company (the one i work for anyway) supplied the rebar for that project!! That was one big project.. I will see if I can round up a couple photo's....

The herd will most likely be gone by the your daughters hunt rolls around.. I have seen a couple stragler cows in there on the first day of the jr hunt, again not for long..Its a great unit FILLED with elk, stay off the roads and you should do fine...

I love Austin.... One of my favorite cities in America. Is it hard to hunt??? NO... As a matter of fact, when you buy your lic. from WalMart or wherever, it will come with 5 WT deer tags, 2 MD tags and (it's been a little while) I think 4 turkey tags. Problem is, from that point you have to either make friends with people that have property or learn to live with paying a bit to hunt. There are a lot of places that will just charge per day and have cheap prices for trophies. They aren't the kind of places that you see on TV, you may come home empty handed but that is not such a big problem if you a local.... Good Luck with the job!!
