Not hunting related - Verizon iPhone 4 "SOLD" Please Delete
DotShot replied to DotShot's topic in Classified Ads
If you can get a Verizon iPhone 4 at retail price for $50-$60 have at it. -
So today is the first day of the Arizona Badger season and, while out on a desert drive, we came across this big boar. I must say, they are some nasty smelling critters. This is the 5th Badger we've taken in this general area. Seems to be a decent population you just have to look hard!

I had a brake installed on my 300 Win mag, done by Harry Lawson. One thing i was impressed by is the fact that he noticed i wear hearing aids (20 years in the military killed my hearing) he ported the brake to push the noise forward and away. It is absolutely awesome and I'm always impressed by anyone who takes enough notice of their customers in order to make sure they are as happy as they can be.

Our family shoots TTSX or TSX exclusively out of a .308, 30-06, 300WSM, and a 300WM. Nothing we've shot has gone any further than 30 yards. The bullets are just plain deadly and I'll shoot them as long as they exist.

Pistol is sold pending funds.

I have Springfield Armory XD9 Sub-Compact with about 900 rounds of ammo i'm considering selling. The pistol probably has less than 200 rounds down the tube and comes with all the original accessories (Holster, Case, Speed Loaded, 2 13rd Mags, & one Mag with the magazine extension, plus another 2 13 round magazines with the dual magazine belt holder. I also have a Blackhawk paddle holster along with the original holster it came with. Would prefer to sell it all as a package deal and not sell the ammo separately. I'm thinking $650 for the complete package. I will provide pictures only to serious inquiries. The ammo is mixed between PMC and Winchester. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks in advance! Will sell ammo separately provided i sell the pistol first, pistol alone i'd like $400 (previous $450) for. Reasonable offers will be considered. PM me if interested. Would consider a trade for a quality rifle scope of equal value.

I'm right handed and due to the fact that i am left eye dominant i have always shot bolt rifles left handed. The problem with this is the fact that stocks on right handed guns have always felt awkward. I recently found out that out you could get thumbhole stocks for right handed rifles with the thumbhole placed for lefties. I ordered one from Boyds Gun Stocks and put it on my 300 Win Mag, and gentlemen (and Ladies) i am in heaven! I can should ambidextrous but am far more accurate shooting lefty. One thing about me (lefty) shooting a right handed bolt gun, is that it forces you to make the first shot count. I added a few pics just for the heck of it.

Definitely a .22, wanted to preserve as much of him as we could.

I Have the 1600-B and i absolutely love it. I've lased well beyond 1600 yards and the angle compensation is a great feature, not to mention it's compact size. You definitely cant go wrong with this rangefinder.

Honestly, if i were going to hunt 36c, i'd do the October hunt. Alot of people dislike that hunt fearing the warmer temps and such, but, the bucks are still in bachelor herds and a tad bit easier to find. Just my own .02 cents.

What would you avid shooters recommend, Glass Bedding or Free floating the barrel? Or both?

Another price drop!

Also, for those of you who hunt Fort Huachuca, the Sportsman's Center has a Facebook page on which they post a lot of important information on. Information such as Range Closures, Events, etc. look for FMWR Sportsman's Center Ft. Huachuca on Facebook!

-from AZGFD: ..."The Department does recognize that there was an error between the hunt numbers that the Department assigns to the Fort Huachuca hunts and the hunt numbers that the Fort posts. We are working on a solution that will correct this error. It may take about a week for the solution to be moved through our process and the error corrected. Please inform your hunters to hold tight and we will get this corrected. No hunt permit tags for hunters who drew Fort Huachuca permits will be mailed until the error is corrected."... "We will not release which Fort hunts have leftover tags until we get this fixed. All hunts other than Fort hunts with left over tags will be posted on our website as usual. We will include a statement of when to expect posting of leftover Fort tags."

I have the same issue, Hunt 1904, which is listed as the Dec hut, but has the Nov dates. Ft. Huachuca added a hunt this year but it looks like the additional hunt Number never made it to Game & Fish. I know Charley at the Sportsmans Center is aware and is working the issue.

I have 3 used Garmin Rino 110 GPS/2-way radios that I no longer use. I have one serial to usb adapter cable allowing connection to your mapping program. $100 takes all 3. I'll be out of town on vacation July 7th through the 11th so any transaction would have to take place after the 11th. PM me if you're interested. I can provide pictures upon request. (Updated with photo of the units)

The rifle is so sweet. I replaced the factory trigger with a Timney trigger set at a light 2.5lbs. I've got a Vortex 6.5-20X50PA scope with a Vortex Sunshade on it. THe scope also has custom Kenton Industries turrets tuned for the Barnes bullet specs. The scope mount is a Nightforce 20MOA Picatinny mount with Nightforce 30mm scope rings. The muzzle brake is custom, done by Harry Lawson LLC. This particular rifle loves Barnes 165gr TTSX ammo. My wife has a similar setup but chambered in 300WSM also with a Timney trigger set at 2.5lbs. Her rifle is topped with a Leupold 4-12x40AO with a 4" sunshade, and also has Kenton Industries custom turrets tuned for the Barnes 165gr TTSX. She is looking for a pink laminate thumbhole stock for it and would really like to have a brake put on hers as well. Needless to say, both rifles are absolute dream to shoot.
