I actually have not ordered the turrets that was a copy and paste typo, i've got a friend who has this same gun, same caliber and we're gonna start with the load he's worked up for his and go from there. I wouldn't order the turret until i've found a load that works for mine.

Just ordered the new scope, Vortex Viper HS 6-24x50 LR FFP XLR as well as the Kenton Industries custom turrets and cannot wait to get it in and go shoot this thing!

I just got off the phone with AZGFD to ask them about why mu Hunting License doesnt show on my AZGFD account and she said that they were still migrating the data. She then proceeded to tell me that draw results would not be posted until next week.

I've got a next to new Pelican 1750 (Black) that i've used twice and just don't see a need for it. Will let it go for $200.

I just found your comment about "educated" pricing to be completely ironic, because anyone who educates themselves on the reality of what's going on would know that it isn't worth any more than it was two months ago. If no one wants it at my offer, its not going to break my heart i'll just keep it and store it away in case the zombies actually attack. Its all good.

I've almost exclusively shot Barnes ammo out of all my rifles from a 25-06 up to my 300WSM and have been nothing but impressed. I bought a Remington 700 XCR in 300 Win Mag and could never get it to group (used 165gr TTSX) which from what i have read is a little to light for the 300 Win Mag and may have been my consistent grouping problem. None the less I've ALWAYS wanted a Sendero but trying to find one in 300 Win Mag new is next to impossible so i figured the RUM would cover the bases all the way around and that i would start with 180gr TTSX and see what happens. Unfortunately, trying to find Barnes 300 RUM 180gr TTSX is next to impossible (found 1 place online and bought 2 boxes) and the Nosler ammo is even more difficult to find in stock (havent found ANY in stock yet). So, i'll give the Barnes a whirl and hope for the best. I really do appreciate all to input it has opened my eyes as far as my entry into long range shooting.

Also, the only reason I asked, full well knowing that i would get vastly different opinions on this subject, i still wanted to see it. Personally I have NEVER done a break in process on a new rifle. I sight it in and go from there and clean it thoroughly after hunting season. Also, I've checked the holes and have already mounted the scope, base is a Nightforce picatinny raild, with Nightforce rings holding (for now) a Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50 PA with the intention (once i raise the funds) of putting a Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP on it. And i already know there will be some that may disagree with my choices, but to each his own.

Oh wow, i just looked at the 210gr AccuBond long range and see what a few have said about better ballistics. Thats kinda amazing.

If that rangefinder is a CRF-1600B for $500, that particular model retails at $799 and is a kick butt rangefinder. If i didnt already have one i'd snatch this in a freaking heartbeat!

I'm considering selling my Remington 700 XCR (Original model in order to fund a new rifle project. I bought it used and have put about 40 rounds down the tube. I've replaced the factory trigger with a Timney Trigger and had a muzzle brake installed (installed by Lawsons). Its just the rifle, no scope or mounts has the original stock on it. (Will post pictures when i get home). For you lefties who may consider purchasing this rifle, i'll even throw in a Boyd's Thumbhole stock designed for a right handed action but the thumbhole accommodates a left handed shooter. Looking to get $800 or best REASONABLE offer for the rifle. If i don't get any bites i'll just hold on to it, figured i'd test the waters. I posted a stock photo so at least you'll have an idea of what the rifle looks like.
