Coyote trapping on my own property
ThomC replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
Chicken wire does not keep out coyotes. Wire needs to be extended out on or in the ground. You just as well make a box trap big enough for a coyote as it will be a continuous problem. -
I suspect that you dont understand everything that you know.

Crappie taste as good or better. Used to be easy to catch till they ruined Roosevelt.

Burn baby burn, mother nature at work rejuvenating the forest. If you have a cabin in the woods with purty trees n bushes next to it then you are a member of the real live dam fools club.

I have a camper to almost give away. $100 cash, you haul from Tucson. Roof leaks a little, it will only fit on the old model trucks, 97 Ford is the newest that will fit otherwise the old boxy bed dodge, chevys. Ugly but usable. Has jacks, refer questionable, bathroom, stove. PM me if interested.

I guess that you had your eyes closed when you drove past the toll booths and signs. I paid once then found a way around it. Colorado is getting more than its fair share of Commifornia hippies.

I drove it in the summer of long ago from Portland to San Diego. I found no places to camp along the ocean. I would never do it during the summer. Too many people. If I was in charge I would wall off so, cal. and let it fall off in to the ocean.

I was out in 4A friday am and found 4 gobblers but as I was working them some yahoo saw my truck and joined in trying to steal them away. Naturally they would have none of that and left. How bad do you need to get a turkey that you would try to steal one away from someone else. Poor hunter? What would you do if you got one? Go home and brag about what a great hunter you are.

I would not sit in any tree stand. But, if you want to hunt there then find a better location for your blind upstream from that location and hang a honey dripper above that tree stand.

Oh si si I am intrigued on where to get a one handed slate call? Do they have a left or right handed version? I have been trying to do that with my regular slate while running. -

No evidence either way is presented. Typical of web site lawyers and pontificates. Web site pontificates as a rule only understand the large print.

Crowded with what? Turkeys or turkey callers. Hot tip: A hoochy yo momma makes a good shock call.
