In AZ we dont have basements but back east they do. There must be a way to have a safe on a wood floor. Now getting it up there is a problem. Wow, see what $$$ signs bring out. The almighty dollar has ruined hunting. The animals in question are supposed to be public property. Why should anyone get paid for finding, killing, helping kill, etc, our animals. Now days one tagholder needs a whole army to kill our animals. Originally guides/outfitters were just along to provide equipment and camps. Now they provide our animals. The tagholder is not a hunter and albeit in some cases not even the shooter. Greed and avarice.

If you want to see pictures of animals just checkout other posts on this site. There are lots of nice pics to be seen. No charge, no loss of cameras.

That video was the PERFECT way to mount a scope. Many millions of scopes have been mounted without all those tools. Unless you are NOT mechanical inclined you can do yourself. Since you are nervous about it then I suggest that you ask a good mechanic/hunter to assist.

Every year that I went Elk hunting something was different from other years. Rancher let out heifers, people camped right in the middle of the hunt area, woodcutters cutting wood, it rained, it was hot, the mosquitoes were awful, no bulls bugling, etc. That is hunting son, adapt. Or are you collecting excuses already.

Gaiters work to fend off the grass stickers. I have gortex which are a little warm and sweaty but they keep stickers out of your pants and provide a little protection from other sharp stuff.

The deer in unit 21 prefer to be shot with a .22 short low velocity.
