People who put never seize on, or loosen their nuts, please put a sign on the back saying " back off I am stupid." Get the right tools and learn how to use them or stay close to home. It is better that you have to wait for someone to come along to help you than for you to lose a wheel while going 100 mph ( ie. over your ability to drive) and kill another person. What is worse is getting home and finding your gun case empty. My Buddy left a Browning Double Auto on the ground where we were hunting. We went back and it was gone. Never have been able to hunt any holidays except New Years and my Birthday.

Most posters don't know what MOA is either. When they say 1/4 MOA for all practical purposes it means 1/4" group at 100 yards. But, as Jack O'Connor said "you have to take a little salt with the figures". I think that if I can hit My Old Asprin bottle at 100yds. its all good.

What Bill says is true. The animals will always be around but, hunting as we know it may not be for long. The bighorn sheep on the Catalinas for example, many people are against putting them there because they think that hunters just want to shoot them. If a season was opened you will hear more screaming. Now the pope has said that animals have a soul and will be in heaven. This stuff is what you should be worried about. Plus the fact that this state, country, world has over reached its carrying capacity of people, unless you want to live like sardines.

This is just a ford/chevy post and I am surprised at all the posters that are confused about what is actually the subject. It is not clear. It could be a ford/toyota post. What bothers me is that a youngster reading these posts would think that to "hunt" one must have a super mag 1000 yard sniper rifle. Do you hunters have statistics that indicate the hold under or over for the curvature of the earth? PS This is the posters first post. inklevr mmmmm wonder what that means.

The commission voted to change some seasons without any study. The law of unintended consequences will apply. Do you know that crossbow and archery equipment is allowed in a muzzleloader hunt? The commissioner that likes muzzleloaders stuck that in despite the objections of staff and the bowhunters president. It is supposed to be a test but he will be the next Chairman. Hunters you should be watching these meetings on the web cams or go to meetings or quit complaining.

Easy check point= every hunter sends in a dated pic of his animal with gut pile and tag attached. And a clear close up of self, license, and tag on animal. If no success then a dated pic of unused tag, license and self the day after the season closes. You all know how to do a selfie right? LOL

I have noticed an increase in knee-jerk complainers who don't have a clue and wont read the real facts or have an agenda that just wont change. Sound familiar?

Wow again, another poster leaving because his feelings are hurt. How can you get your feelings hurt by someone that you don't know who said something on the internet. You internet rookies need a little basic training. A: People on the internet are usually NOT experts. B: They are giving you their OPINION based on little information. C: You will not die if they don't agree with you. C: Lots of people don't agree with me and, it is irritating to hear/read opinions by people who think that they know everything by those who actually do. The answer is all of the above and add luck. That will be the best that you can do. Finding a buddy that has the knack will improve your chances. The knack is something that is intangible. My son has it and I taught him how to hunt but he is so much better than me. It is a skill that some people have that sets them above others plus hard work.

Wow after all that I hope that people still know that you can be cited for exactly what the regs say. No FMJ. The comment, ( like a military) is a descriptive term and not all inclusive.
