I also would recomend a short(er) draw length vs. an longer one.... I am just a shade under 6' tall (5'11 1/2") ... and I prefir to shoot at 28 1/4"-28 1/2". Reguardless of draw length, as most know... I AM A MATHEWS GUY!!! However.... FYI.... the longer the bow (axle to axle) the more forgiving it will be... I prefir a longer bow for that reason. Even if it may be a bit more cumbersome at times.... Good luck with the New Bow and that Great Tag!! My buddy Jason will only buy from that Mathews shop in PV.... I think me too from now on.... CnS

Told him not to do that..... dang it...... I'm sick to my guts!!! Just talked to my boy... he says that he drew a hunt # that he did NOT apply for!!! Says he olny put 3 choices.... all bull tags. Wonder what to do now!?!? GO HUNTING and dont cry about it! He got a friggin elk tag! I am guessing somebody didnt get a tag Bah hahahahahaha! Or he just got turned down again for date..... You woundn't want the tag he drew anyhow, Casey....

Heard just a while ago that Hwy 87 is gunna be closed for the forseeable future.... No idea what that means but it ain't gonna be this week for sure.... I'll bet. Dang!

I thought the same thing. It has not been right in that spot from day one! They have replaced some of the pavement, but IMO were just prolonging the inevitable... Isn't there someone out there that gets paid big $$$ to make sure these kinds of problems don't happen on new highway projects before they start??? Oh well.... it will be nice while it lasts! With Bill Luke Bass Days (at Pleasant) and Hwy 87 being shut down... Rosie should be a ball this weekend!!! I'm Goin' on Sunday for sure!!! CnS

Not familiar with that round but I am going to assume that the BC on that 140 gr. will not out perform the heavier 180 gr. in a real hunting situation (wind, ect.).... Again I might be wrong, but I personally prefir the 300's because speed and thewind bucking ablity. Also, I am shooting a 300 Wby mag and a lot of guys are shooting 300 RUM's.... my 168 gr. VLD's are leaving the barrel at 3250+ fps. Very interested to learn about any "smaller" caliber that would do better though. Thanks, CnS
