I agree..... I did draw an elk tag online and a deer tag by mail, with a money order, and I did vote no... I have nothing to gain by voting no..... I just get tired of everyone thinking they need a second chance..... you all sound just like Paris Hilton, Linsey Lohan, and Nichol Richie..... my goodness. If you screw up, own up! Learn a lesson and go on..... welcome to the real world. If and when I screw up my application one of these days, (and I'm sure I will, eventually) I will be bumbed out too.... and I will suck it up and move on. Right on, dude! My buddy that went to the show with me is about 45-46 years old and he rocks out all the time. The Squizz or Octane (Sirius) are the best on sat. radio!!!!!

That is not bad.... I have seen some self-guided hunts available between $2500- $3500. I would make sure that you are hunting a good ranch, not one that is all shot out. A friend of mine went on a deal like that last year and he shot a 120"+ Non-typ. and the guy he took with him shot a mid 90" buck with lots of character. Go for it! Best of luck!

Alright, all you reloading junkies.... ..... I need some help...... I am having a really hard time time finding any reloading data for the 168gr. VLD in a 300 Wby Mag..... It seems to not exist.... we loaded a couple up at 82 gr. of IMR 7828 powder and got decent results @ about 3175 fps.... I think that I can get better accuarcy and possibly speed out of it, as the primers showed no sign of cratering....? But how is too far? Any advice or info?? Thanks, CnS

You didn't mention how much, but I would say yes.... If you are a good Coues hunter here on public land, and they help you get there, and feed you...... It would be the only way that I would do it. Good luck.

With that mentality, G&F blew it with the online draw, so lets give everyone who applied a tag....c'mon be a little bit realistic. G&F messed this one up and i personally think they should have to bend over backwards to accomodate the online applicants, stupid or not. Sorry, Dad... Honestly, Casey..... One of his favorite things to talk about with his big brother right now is getting out in the woods together soon. You lay on your back in a hospital bed for weeks and depression sets in..... Things like an up coming elk hunt are the only brightness in a life filled with therapy, bed rest, and depression.... think about it.... he needs this opportunity to go hunting more now than before.
