Easy boys..... It is scored as a 2 pt..... meaning the mass measurements are taken at the Quarters. It ain't my first time.... ...this one was easy to score..... It has 4 pts but is scored like a Fork...... and still gets 57 6/8! Thanks for the responses! This buck was over 120" and when you hold it in your hands it is a No Brainer!!

As mentioned the truck door can work well..... ... Also, I was out yesterday and drove up on a group of birds in my Ranger with the tunes blaring and those toms we gobbling thier danged old heads off! On a more serious note I have heard that a owl hooter works good.... You can't hardly tell but these two toms were a struttin' and a gobllin'!

IMO, you are very blesed to have not only glassed, but also have tagged a lion w/o dogs at the age of 14! I have only glassed 2... one while calling (about 500-600 yds) and one while coues hunting and this was the results... A huge thanks to my totally Awesome hunting partner that day for letting me shoot it and ruining the rest of her hunting day!

I have had friends and family use the Rage on Elk and that was enough for me to know that I won't use them. I did not like the penetration.... if they hit any bone at all they may not kill the animal in a quick manner. I would recommend large cutting diameter, fixed, three blade heads... I like the Thunderheads, or Muzzy 3 blades. Elk have long hair that can quickly clot the wound making blood trailing difficult. As mentioned before, shot placement is critical! Aim below the middle!!!

I've got the Swaro STS65 HD.... I just don't think I could handle having anything less....

i, too, have hearing issues... Glad you guys are talking about his.... I need to do something, but don't want to spend the money unless I can get the right stuff.... I want something that blocks the loud noises, like guns.... but really want to be able to tell which direction those far off bugles came from, again....

Okay... I talked to Amanda and this is what we are gunna do! Determine the order of size of these three bulls (largest to smallest) and then guess the the combined Gross Score of the three bulls! Example: left, center, right-1275 inches. Top five closest will recieve a mini US Constitution Pamphlet (from Amanda, CW.com & the NRA) and the Winner (has to be within 5 inches on the total gross score) will also recieve a CW.com Shirt of thier choosing (paid for by me)!
