HNTNGUY Report post Posted June 28, 2022 Question for you guys that have hunted the Kiabab archery hunt on horseback. How did the deer react to the horses? Not road hunting lol. Meaning are they spooked around the horses. Are they as "nervous" around horses as say a hunter walking. I know several times on horseback (not on the Kiabab) I could literally walk a horse very close to deer. But I also know that the deer in those units are a lot more used to cattle and/or ranchers.
