I have the ProHunter and have liked it so far. I have only shot it with a .243 barrel and recently aqcuired a 12 ga turkey barrel that I am looking forward to patterning before turkey season. Some folks say that the adjustable hammer and the Flex stock system are not worth the added expense as when compared to the T/C Encore, but to each his own I suppose. They are very pricey that is for sure.

I have the encore prohunter .50 cal muzzleloader. Seems to be a very good platform for a modern muzzleloader, very accurate, easy breakdown, but was pretty expensive. I've wanted to get a couple other barrels for it, but haven't done so yet.

My son used a Pro Hunter in 7mm rem mag on his kaibab deer hunt in 2007 - 3x3 at 411 yds, and his antelope hunt same year - 200 yds.

I used my Pro Hunter in 300 win mag in 2007 for antelope and deer - 327 yds for the goat and 458 for the buck.

A good friend of mine had his Pro Hunter in 7mm rem mag on the 2008 late elk hunt in 7w - 905 yds and a lot of packing.

Yeah, I guess I would have to say that I am a fan of the Pro Hunter.
