Wanted: LA Winchester Model 70

I picked up an almost finished American Walnut stock for a post 64 LA model 70.  For an indoor summer project, I plan to refinish it and try my hand at checkering.  Problem is,  I don't have a rifle to fit it!

I'm open as far as chambering, however 6.5mm and .257 bores would be my preference.  Obviously, I don't care about the shape of the stock.  Not really concerned about the finish as I can cerakote if necessary.  

I can buy outright or trade.

Shoot me a PM with what you have.  I'm also going to insist on a FTF deal only.  I'm not interested in sending your "friend" who has exactly what I want, funding, in hopes of a rifle being sent to my FFL..........        

I'm in Tucson, but I have a lot of free time coming up and can meet most anywhere in AZ.

I have an excellent condition Post 64 model 70 in 30-06 with a vitage correct Weaver K6 scope on it. Let me know if you want me to send photos.
