mbiewer Report post Posted May 28 1 / 1 2001 Lowe Suncruiser Jamaica 250 series $36,000 TRITOON! We purchased this boat just under 3 years, but it is a little too big for our comfort level (we’re pretty new to the boating experience). 27 foot long tri-toon. The boat has an upgraded Sony Bluetooth/ (Sirius ready) deck with upgraded speakers done by the previous owner. Sink galley/trash. Moveable center console. Stand table in back seating area. Comes with two towable inflatables, ropes, jackets, anchor, and all the basics to make it lake ready and turn key. In my own research, I learned that the owner prior to the one we bought it from repowered the boat. The prior owner repowered the tritoon with a chevy 350 instead of the factory honda v6. The boat will cruise at 35 mph. From our experience, a full day on the lake will use about a ½ tank of fuel (15 gallons). Plenty of power pulling an inflatable (have to be mindful of limiting the speed when pulling a tube). It does have a cover, that should be replaced. Theres a couple of tears in the center, but enough to keep the vinyl covered when parked. One cushion has a hole and another spot where the stitching is starting to separate (check pictures). Some of the vinyl is starting to get sunburnt, but still soft and supple. Dual bimini covers. One has been replaced. (theres a piece to connect the two, but I could never get the zippers to match… so we just used the straps to keep them up and tight when we used the boat. The back landing wasn’t covered by the cover, so the carpet went bad. I stripped the carpet and exposed wood, and decked it with a sheet schedule 80 pvc and topped it with rubberized roof coating to prevent further damage and provide traction when wet. Large sized sundeck (about queen sized), with a pop up changing room. ( we never used it but I et it up to check it out. Don’t know who to bring with boating? Bring everyone! This boat is rated for 17 people! Fun boat for the whole family. Prewired for a fish finder (sensor and mount are there, but I never put one back on there). Pull a tube, go fishing, or just cruise with the family. Tritoon floats across the water amazingly. 684 hours on the meter, not sure of individual hours on motor or when it was actually replaced (owner we purchased from didnt know of the motor upgrade as well). Hours may increase if I get the chance to take it out once more (especially for some “action shots”). $36,000 obo. Serious inquiries only please.
