6.5 PRC Rifle

Recommended Posts

For sale is a 6.5 PRC Rifle built on a Savage Long Action. I used a long action so I could cycle the 156gr. Berger bullets without having to seat them to far in the case to maximize powder capacity. This is a very accurate rifle and has 320 rds down the barrel. I also have a standard bolt face that will go with the sale, that way you can switch calibers for a switch barrel rifle. The Scope, Suppressor, and Bipod are not included in the sale. I will include 100 fired brass. If interested I have reloading dies, bullets, and primers we can negotiate a price on with the sale of the rifle.

Specs

Savage Long Action - magnum bolt face, fluted bolt, titanium bolt handle with carbon fiber bolt knob, 20 moa scope rail.

Trigger - Bix'n Andy Dakota Trigger, adjustable pull weight range 1.3 - 3.5 lbs.

Stock - Stocky's VG2 Carbon Fiber with Area 419 picatinny rail for Bipod.

Barrel - Proof Research carbon Fiber Sendero, 6.5 PRC, 22" long, 1:7.5" twist rate, 320 rds down pipe.

Weight of rifle minus scope, bipod, and suppressor 7lbs 7.7oz.

I have over $2200.00 invested in this rifle. WTS for $1500.00.

I live in Queen Creek, face to face sales only, no trades. I work in Mesa so I am willing to meet within reason.

How is the glass in your scope compared to VX-5HD,your opion??

I really like the glass in the Tract It's been awhile since I've looked through a VX-5HD so it's hard to give a qualified comparison. I will say Leupold glass in their higher end scopes have always been one of my favorites. I'll put it this way, I don't feel like I sacrificed anything going with the Tract. So far I've been really impressed with it. Optical quality, tracking accuracy, and durability is outstanding in my experience.
