Hunted 34A for the last 3 days. We are seeing tons of white tail doe. The white tail are extremely low. I haven't seen any mule deer. This is opposite from the previous years. I haven't seen as many pig as last year either. I have noticed there is a ton of lion, bear and coyote track. The predators must be taking their toll on the deer.

I have seen the same thing. I think the fire pushed some of the bigger predators out of the higher areas. Maybe the deer moved accordingly also.
