az4life Report post Posted January 31, 2006 Well, If you can get the deer to carry a flagstick.....A lot of golf rangefinders only have a 200 yard scale built in a monocular to reference the flag height for distance. Besides, I think it would be better suited for Birdies. Generally even better Golf rangefinders are not good for more than 400 yards at best and probably not your best choice for hunting. BASS Report post Posted January 31, 2006 I think for bowhunting it would be fine! I use Bushnell yardage scout for archery and it does just fine. It only goes out to 500 yards, but the last time I took a 100 yard shot was.....well, I have never taken a 100 yard shot with my bow. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
