Wbramble Report post Posted March 31, 2015 For sale is a 2008 Starcraft 8' pop-up tent trailer. I purchased this used from a friend who had only used it once. It was not large enough for his rather large family. Since purchase 2 years ago, I have only used it two times. It has been garage kept by both owners.Immediately after I purchased it, I removed all of the factory cabinets and replaced them with custom fit cabinets to accommodate space for the shower, water heater and toilet that I added. (My family owns a custom cabinet shop so this is not a DIY hack job) The shower is a 24x40" shower tub with dedicated shower head and a circumferential shower curtain that can be stowed when not in use.There was very little storage initially but now there are multiple drawers and cubbies to store camping equipment. I also bolted a cargo rack on the back of the trailer to haul a cooler, chairs and other camping equipment.There is a full size bed and a twin size bed in the trailer. Both mattresses were topped with memory foam (not included) so they are in excellent condition. Also included are the pads from the dinette set that was removed. These pads can be used on the floor or on the counter top to sleep a 4th person if need be.The trailer has a refrigerator (12v, 120v or gas), water heater, sink, shower, water pump, city water connection, city power connection, Gas BBQ, Gas cooktop, gas furnace/heater and a Thule table that attaches to the outside of the trailer.The tires are new with less than 50 miles on them including spare. Battery will need to be replaced but I can put a new one in to make a deal. Also included is (2) 6-gallon water jugs for shower/sink water. There is also a outside faucet that can be used to hook up to a mister system to keep cool in the summer. All canvas is in perfect condition. There are no tears or scratches in the canvas or windows. The trailer has pretty decent ground clearance and is very light. I cannot for the life of me find in the owners manual or on the trailer exactly how much it weighs but I pulled it with a 2006 jeep wrangler up some long steep grades and it does quite well. I am guessing that it weighs less than 1500 pounds. Tongue weight is light enough to push around with one hand to hook up to hitch. I am asking 4000 OBO and will consider reasonable offers or trades.
