Been a long wait, but AZ Strip here comes the AWO team!

Recommended Posts

It is only my second Arizona mule deer tag in 32 years. Both have been on the Arizona Strip, Unit 13B. I drew this year with 17 bonus points.

15 years ago my friend jay Chan and I drew and he got a nice buck and I passed on 36 different bucks, four of which most I think would have taken.

I am very selective and I have no issues with bringing home a quality tag like this.

In the past we have guided our our hunters to some awesome bucks.

I am a fan of Freaks and Geeks and though who wouldn't want a big typical, I'm kinda hoping to see a buck with lots of "junk in the trunk."

This will be my last personal tag on the Strip.

From now on it will be applying for a Kaibab tag; late and then early.

Going up this weekend to set up cameras and look around. Am going with one of my guides, Cody Jalbert, who along with his dad, drew a pair of the archery tags there.

Gonna be a fun time for the AWO team this year, but we are still open to help anyone who has been fortunate enough to also draw a tag.

You don't have to pay $5-10K to get a great buck on the Strip.

Give is a call and let me tell you what we can do for you if you've got an archery or rifle tag this year in Unit 13B.

Good luck up there hope you kill a big one. I'm sitting on 12 and still waiting for 13B. When I draw I'll look you up

Just got back from the Strip.

Saw quite a few bucks, this was without a doubt the most unusual.

A 7 X 4...

Won't score a lot, but is a neat buck for sure!

Got cameras out, will go back in a week or so.

No rain up there, tanks are drying up for the most part in the north end.
