CouesWhitetail Report post Posted April 1, 2008 A friend asked me to post this: There will be a Clean Up this Saturday, April 5th at 6:00AM in Redington Pass. The clean up will take place on the 3 major shooting areas at milepost 6 and then whatever we can do after that. Any and all help will greatly be appreciated. Please pass the word around. The forest service is the main contact on this cleanup. You can contact the forest service in Tucson, probably Sabino Canyon visitor center. Alternatively, you can contact Matt Walton with Game and Fish as well at 520-388-4468. As far as directions, from Tucson you need to go east on Tanque verde road until it turns into Redington Rd. Then the pavement will turn into dirt. Just follow the road for 6 miles until you see us or see milepost 6. From Kearney or Globe, you can take the back way through San Maneul and take Redington Rd all the way back toward Tucson. It's a lengthy drive that way though.
