Nuker Report post Posted June 29, 2020 Hi all, I recently got my scope dipped to match my rifle and am wondering now about mounting it. Should I remove the hydro-dip from under where the rings will clamp down or not? Do you have any scope / gunsmith recommendations I can read, I haven't been able to find any. The rings are Talley and it's a Leupold VX5hd scope if that matters. I have not torqued down the rings yet because I spun them down finger tight and still see gaps on the rings, I do have a torque screwdriver that will work for the range Talley recommends on their rings, 16-20 inch-lbs I think.
