Josh Epperson

Josh took this photo around 1999 at the Heritage Park Zoo in Prescott. This buck, named Shadow, has lived there since he was a fawn and Josh thinks he was around 9 years old at the time. The zoo has his antler sets on display. His best set scored in the 120’s. This rack he has in this photo was still partially in velvet and he has drop tine on his left antler. He is probably about 100 inches in this photo. He is very palmated. His third circumference measurements were around 5-7 inches. Great buck. If anyone gets up there, see if this buck is still alive and take some photos of the sets of sheds from him.
