Trail Cam music video - Lots of critters!
CouesWhitetail replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Trail Cameras
I think it was the 2011 model of the Covert Extreme. So it's not even the more recent models, which should be better. The Red40 is the 2012 version of this camera, it has more battery life and LEDs. -
Congratulations! Way to stick with it and figure out a plan that worked!

Way to go Tony! I sure wish I could have been down there with you! Many thanks to TJ for stepping up and helping out. He and his wife are great people.

Very nice! I love spots that have a great variety of critters!

Did you try and post your 17 pics here in the forum too? I am curious if it worked fine for you. Try it and let me know.

Thanks for sharing your hunt with us Doug. I love the pic of the deer jumping the fence. How about sharing a pic of Russ' bull?

200"mulie, I see the same unlimited message, but according to the settings in the admin panel, it says max number of photos is 30 in a post and I think 1 Gigabyte of space. Sorry you had trouble Doug....sounds like it was more of a formating problem than a space or max number of photos problem... normally copy and paste from a word document works fine, so I am not sure what the issue is. Also, you don't have to worry about saving me space. Since we are on our own server now, we have gobs of space. You can email me your word document and I can try and figure out the problem.

That's a good one! I wouldn't do it!

A good reminder that everyone should follow up their shots even when they don't see blood! congratulations on your bull!

They were likely Bot fly larvae and won't harm the meat.

Lessons Learned - Not all of 'em I like! Kaibab Buck

That was a GREAT write-up Ilene!! Thanks for sharing all the emotional ups and downs of your hunt. That takes courage and I thoroughly enjoyed the story. Poor Roger!! I guess he was able to forgive you though I completely agree with what Devin posted...and will quote him again: "And really at the end of the day all that matters is that you are happy with what you have done and that RESPECT for the animals that we harvest never dwindles." I consider myself a trophy hunter, but I killed the smallest deer of my life this year and was happy to do it because for each hunt I tend to set different goals. Most of the time I willing to go home empty handed for the chance to kill a big buck. But sometimes I am not and now I have meat in the freezer and am in fact enjoying leftover chicken fried backstrap as I type this!!! I hunt for the challenge, the beautiful experiences in the wild and for food. Congratulations on a fine buck! I am sure you and Roger will enjoy many fine meals from him. -
that's just Great!!! Congratulations and thanks for sharing the hunt with us!

You guys are welcome! We strive to mail stuff out the day it's ordered and if you are within Arizona it tends to arrive overnight just using regular US Post office mail service. Of course it's harder to get stuff out during hunting season since I am often out in the field!

what Kinda duck is this???Lake Pleasant
CouesWhitetail replied to Gut Pile's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Looks like a grebe to me. There are several species of grebes in Arizona, not just the larger one (the Western or Clark's Grebe) that you normally see. This one maybe an Eared Grebe.- 10 replies
