Got through on the phone for my dad and I finally. My dad got nothing but I drew a 3a3c September archery bull tag! :-) Brian

Awesome TJ! I'm still trying to figure out what tag I got and find out what my dad drew. Brian

Nice job TJ. Good luck tomorrow. I won't be able to make to SC till Sunday. Have a friend fishing there today. I'll pm you how they did. Brian

Good luck Will. My dad has been there the last two days and the fishing is a lot slower than this past weekend. This past cold front really slowed them down. It did pick up some yesterday though. I'm going to be there Sunday. I'll give it a couple more days for the crappie to move back in. Brian

Non typical, was wondering if you happened to see any turkeys up there? Brian

I just got a new recurve a little over a month ago. Been wanting one for a long while now. Practice is going great out to 20 yards. My goal this hunting season is to take a coues buck with it (long time dream of mine) and then a javelina. Definately a whole different ball game than shooting a compound, that is for sure. Brian

I thought my recurve would be my last big purchase for the year I was wrong. Found a deal I couldn't pass up. Purchased a new Beretta M9 9mm from my nephew for $200. He needed the cash and I was more than glad to help him out. Brian -
Maybe they just ran a few first to test the system. Who knows. If they were hitting cards regularly there would be alot of people posting they were hit. Brian

Had one bad stretch 2 years ago. I went 3 for 34 on stands. :-(. Not a fun month of calling, but I feel in the long run things even out. Brian -

My dad and I left Globe early this morning headed to Canyon Lake, but when we got there the wind was really a rolling. We waited an hour to see if it was going to go down at all but it didn't, so we headed on up to Apache Lake. When we arrived there the wind was still blowing but not as hard. We launched and fought the wind for awhile and ending up catching several fat largemouths. It was a long day making the loop all the way around and back to Globe but we caught some nice fish for the day. Brian

I just found out I drew Navajo spring Turkey tag. I'm happy. Brian -
My dad and I hit SC Lake for the for the first time this year. Lake is low. Looks like the end of the lake is just past Jackrabbit Cove. We launched at Soda Canyon, but not on the main ramp. Had to launch off of the point. Launching was easy. We got on the water at 9 am. Water Temps ranged from 52-56 degrees. Slight breeze at times but for the most part a really nice day. Fishing was a little slow for us today. We ended up catching 10 crappie and one catfish. All crappie were caught on minnows in 17-20 feet of water, fishing 5-10 feet down. It was good to get back out on the water and catch a few fish. Brian

Well I just bought my new toy for the year, A PSE recurve. I have made the switch to traditional archery. Definitely a lot different from my compound bow. My goal this year is any coues buck with it and then a pig in January. This is something I have wanted to do for a long time. Brian -
Webber sent you a pm. Brian
