I don't believe health care is perfect and insurance companies with huge profits are not helping along with drug companies who should bare more than a large share of blame in costs rising. Anyway glad all in the family are safe

I am no expert on just about anything but my wife was born a nurse and is a saint in the field along with a lot of her counterparts from the maintenance guys to the CEO of john c lincoln . I know in many businesses people don't realize what it costs to operate a facility. In the case of john c they are never not under construction or remodel to better their ability to care. From custom UV filtrated air systems to back up power to 1200 an hour medivac heli to dedicated staff. Yes they could be cheaper and make more profit but who wants to go have surgery where they dim the lighting and hire anyone off the street. 37000. Sounds high to me as well and as was mentioned only a portion will be paid but the hospital nor the healthcare system is to blame. It all falls in two places, idiot people with frivolous lawsuits against doctors and hospitals and non paying individuals. This is 90 percent of the problem with the cost of healthcare. Just like in taxes we pay for the ones who don't. Our great country and people refuse to let someone suffer without care so no matter who show up in need we care for them and in the end because some in america lack the morals to get up and fight for a decent place in this world we the ones who go to work and do whatever it takes to make a decent way in life have to pay more than we use. God bless nurses and america. oh and may all of us on clues end up at the doctor in late December bad backs from carrying overloaded packs full of dinner and bone. m

I work in a machine shop so my hearing is bad on low sounds plus the 4 15in Subs in my diesel don't help either. Hearing is still OK everywhere I need it. I too plan on using plugs during every shot.

I was looking into some hunting in New Zeeland just for the heck of it, I saw a show on youtube about it and I have friends there with an empty house so was just dreaming. They do alot of Heli drops over there and they run 1200 an hour. Basically 4500. airfair 9000. hunt fee and then 2400 for chopper to take you in deep for 2 animals. Rich mans sport.

I'm with you 208, I use a fixed 10 power and fixed 20 for long range with simple mildot. I can keep up with my buddies razor HD all day. Less is more for me but I know the scopes mentioned are very good. Just depends on what you like to use. Those are target guns though. I only hunt with basic Bushnell 3 9 40 but I don't plan on shooting past 300 or so. Maybe ignorant on my part but I figure if I can walk to a dead deer at 800 I can walk to get a better shot under 300 if not good for the deer. Maybe when I can't get to that 200 in mule deer someday I will go buy the sightrn.

Sorry I could have worded this better, I too am in the hunt for some predators and hope to get a few coyotes under my belt, I plan on using them to sack out my mules and tan the hides as well. I was just thinking more like with fox and some smaller predators they are not a threat to livestock or deer much so do alot of guys take them and just leave them? I would think like coyotes are prolific and can effect deer and other game so I can understand population control there but guys that go after fox and bobcat and the like would be using them in the fur trade or for trophies? Is there such a population of these species that they really need our control hunting to the point where we would let them lay like a coyote? Like I said I was meaning to spark conversation not criticize. I have always been open on the fact that I am inexperienced.

OK on the hush hush anyone have any connections for some R12 ac charging on a 1990 Toy 4x4? My buddy finally ran out of juice and I just got my truck back from a full rebuild overhaul and my AC was low. My mechanic wont mess with it so was hoping someone might have a freind, I have lots of tradeables including cash. I would also consider knowledge on converting to 134, I know very little on how or cost? Thanks in advance.
