I am selling a savage model 10. Caliper 223. Hardly used I have shot maybe 50 rounds in the last ten years of owning it which is why I am selling it. Great predator rifle. Savage 116 stainless, used on 1 hunt with round count less than 50 total. Round count is likely in the 30-35 range. Comes as shown with scope. This is a custom built savage model 110 in 7mm. It was built by a gunsmith in Idaho. The rifle shoots 3/4 MOA at 100 yards. I have pictures of target and it was done at the rio salado range. Asking $900.00 obo for the rifle as you see it in the picture. The barrel is a Douglas 1 in 9 twist turned to a #5 and cerekoted sniper grey. Its 27.5 inches long with the brake. It has a karsten cheek riser and a Farrell 20 MOA rail. It shoots 168gr. Bergers @ 3005 fps last time it was chronographed and I've shot it acuratly out to 1164 yards personally. I have put roughly 350-400 rounds down range in this rifle and have all the brass and lots of ammo if interested in purchasing as well. Please text 208 921 2044.

I am Considering cleaning out the gun safe a bit.... I have 2 semi custom .300 Wby Magnums and a NIB .300 win mag. SOLD! #1 is a Weatherby Mark V I have had it about 10 years and it has killed everything we have ever pointed it at, mostly one shot kills. This is an everyday carry gun, it shows some wear and use. I would like to sell this one with the Huskemaw 5-20x50 mm scope on it. $1,250.00 SOLD! #2 is a Remiington model 700 Sendero rechambered in .300 wby. I had this gun built, put a brand new Huskemaw Blue diamond 5-20x50 on it, and have developed a perspective load for it, but just haven't had the time for this Safe Queen. I am willing to sell this one with or without the scope. I am now selling my other Savage 6.5 Creedmoor. Rifle has about 350 rounds through it. I have 64 very precise loaded rounds that also go with gun. Brass is nosler, cci-br2 primers, h4350 @ 41.4 gn, and loaded with Berger 140 gn VLD hunting bullets. I will also provide the buyer with all the specs i have for this rifle like seating depth, powder info, throat info, headspace info, ect. This gun produces 2" groups at 750 yards. 2800 fps. Experiences with a .338 win mag / Suggestions for wet weather?

I am planning an Alaskan brown bear hunt for fall of 2017. I am interested in using a .338 win mag so it could also double as an elk gun in our state. Because I mostly hunt archery now, I have not followed industry changes in centerfire rifles. I do not build guns, nor do I reload, but I am interested in purchasing a solid factory .338 win mag that is basically weatherproof and could handle rain and snow without failing. Anyone have any advice on great guns for wet weather hunting based on their own personal experiences? Any comments on the new Savage line or Mossberg centerfire rifles? I see Mossberg has a 4x4 .338 win mag for around $400 bucks and Savage has a 116 Trophy Hunter .338 for $150 more with an included Nikon scope. Anyone have any experiences with these lower priced rifles? I do have a Browning A-bolt Stalker in .300 win mag, which I love, but want to use a bit more THUMP than that for brown bear. I might just get another A-bolt Stalker in .338 or a Remmington 70, but was curious about the Savage and Mossberg models I brought up. Thanks. -
Well guys I did it again. I was so impressed by the repeat accuracy and precision from my first build I thought I would do another. This time I shopped around for months looking for a NEW donor action. My local gun shop had called me and told me he had found 3 of them. I wanted all 3 but could only get 1. The reason is the actions were COMPLETELY stripped, no triggers, no trigger housings not even the safety red dot. I was able to still get the action cheap enough I could order everything I needed from savage and other places. So I did. Here she is so far. I have for sale like new Savage Model 11 Long Range Hunter 6.5 Creedmoor 26" **1700.00**. Comes with Valdada 6-24x50 35mm tube MP8 scope illuminated, Valdada base, Valdada Rings, open close muzzle break, accustock (work done to stock so stock was not touching barrel), accutrigger, karsten comb . This gun loves H4350 @ 42.2gn, 140 berger vld, Nosler or Hornady brass, CCI-BR2 primers this set up will produce a 1/4 moa group. Factory A max 140 will do 1/2 to 3/4 moa. If you are interested in Gun only I would be willing to sell just the gun 800.00 (no base, no rings and no scope). Scope was 1400.00, Gun 950, base 100. Gun has 200 rounds and was broke in correctly (shoot clean for 10, shoot 3 clean for 20, shoot 5 clean for 20.) I will post more pictures later.

Here is my son Zack shooting 1050 yards 13 mph winds no practice shots. This is his first time ever shooting this far target is 20 inches. Here i am shooting the same distance 1050 yards I shot first then my son shot 2nd. Again no practice shots 1st shot hits for both. My second shot at this distance hit same place as my first shot producing a 2" group. here are some more videos for your viewing. I just recorded from my phone while the camera was plugged into the TV so I can upload faster. I will get a full video edited and uploaded when i have time. My nephew Price is 10 years old and has only shot long range 2 times, my son of course shots as much as i do (100 rounds a week), my dad is also getting into the long range fun when I built him a 6.5 Creedmoor.
