Update. Bought 55 dollar retro kit from Napa and screwed 2 fittings on then charged with 134 and drove around in a jacket. I was expecting a pain in the rear.

I am not understanding the rule for tag transfer. I read the regs and Since my daughter fits the bill and did not draw I am thinking of donating my tag to her. It says that either myself, grandparent or guardian has to be within 50 feet of her during the hunt??? What the heck is that??? Can I giver her the tag or not I am not understanding the reasoning there? Of course I wouldnt miss her first deer tag for anything but just thought that was a strange deal. What if I was unable to go and thats why I was transferring?

I would have moved to my left and flung one through all three with my rifle then call 2 buddies to use their tags then not mark my tag drive out not get stopped fill freezer and be back in my blind the next morning,,,,,You said honest not serious. LOL anyway very good thinking but you could wait until the one you really want is in a good position and if not let them walk or shoot the back one, lots of ok decisions in that shot.

Correct. Buy online tickets and you get craws fo sho. 25 bucks adults get 3lbs and 12 bucks for teens and down get 2lbs. They said 1500 lbs was local and then they were shipping in a bunch as well. Expect 5000 attendees this year.

Something I was just thinking was I have my Rifle tag and want to transfer it to my daughter but I am going Archery so If I tag a deer can I still transfer the Rifle tag or do I have to do that first and will it still be valid if I tag something in August?

Very true . in the end when I'm on the mountain alone I never think of material only friends family and the amazing animals who I spent time with.

I was able to go up recently in a single eng plane and we were up for about 2 hours and just fuel was 95 bucks on a 125 horse motor. Figure 65 bucks an hour for fuel plus pilot so maybe 150 an hour for plane if you can find someone. Its tuff to mark stuff and see where the heck your at in a plane for sure so I say Google earth and boots.

Ya funny rule. I can only guess they want you to mentor and spend family time or something or maybe way back it stopped some kind of abuse of transfer. If I decide to do it I will be there so no issue on my end. By the way is there a deadline to transfer or do I have some time? Mainly I just want to be sure she deserves it still at that time before I do it. If she keeps her nose clean its hers. Lol i am pulling for her but 16 and just got her first truck so you never know.

Nice article, I mainly anneal just to get longer case life but I do believe in the accuracy gains as well. I also anneal my 30-30 oddly enough because for some reason 30-30 is tough on the press and I have found if I anneal them they are much easier to work with. Military brass is aided with annealing as well due to the thicker case walls. I have a set of 500 .223 brass on its 13th loading now so case life is much better after annealing. I go like 4 loads then anneal. I have several boxes separated needing to be done and I just do a bunch when I have time. Those machines are very handy but I still use hand method. If anyone grabs one of these machine let me know so I can borrow it once a year. LOL
