a lot of boys scouts go there this time of year, with all the noise I wouldn't worry about bears just carry a sidearm great hike into there. Lots of cool places to look around.

I heard they can't find the paper apps out of Flagstaff, so it might be awhile.

The road to Blue Ridge is usually closed from the middle of December until April, unless you guys know something different?

Good to see a young man with a lot of money putting it back to help the species, with the great moisture this spring this buck will be taken on the Strip.

They get to hunt for 360 days with there family ok, but they usually fly in for a couple days drive to where the spotters are and thump it, great to see all the money goes back to help the deer.

Oneshot, There probably aren't many hunters that hunt in 34a that know it better then you, I guess that's why I don't understand why you are so hung up on guys hunting it 150 yards off the road really who cares. the game and fish doesn't and when is the last time you talked to the leo of the forest service except when he or she was asking for directions to get out of the woods because they were lost even with a national forest map in the truck? In the last 40 years I have been checked less then 5 times we are talking over 1,000 days in the woods so why are you so worried if the law isn't?

I have know problem with you guys that can shoot 1,000 yards I can't I don't have the talent don't want it. Tell me when you sneak up on an animal at 1.000 yards are you worried it will smell or hear you? when you see a animal at that range and have to sneak up another 970 yards that's usually when the hunt and adrenaline starts kicking in, you shooters at this range are amazing but when does your hunt begain?

I have done many things wrong in my life some by accident some on purpose, I have been punished by the man and my conscious. but most of the time I am not silent and I don't tell my problems to Johnny, I used to just take care of it myself maybe that's why I got in trouble a lot , sounds like you are an Angel? I have done it many times some of the more remote areas we would hunt in August for archery deer there wasn't water anywhere to filter, some trips 3 or 4 of us would haul water in it was a live saver I have even done it on a few elk hunts.Why wouldn't you?

Do these people know the rules? they should but if they don't, do you tell them before you call enforcement? Are they putting people in harms way? Just wondering what your motive is with this. I know you love 34a, my guess is most don't know of this law I have hunted 34a since 1977 and didn't know this rule was in place, I don't hunt where the bird watchers walk but I would if I knew a big buck was there I would always thought it was 1/4 mile off the pavement. I f you know the people doing this and they continue to do it I would just poop in the blind every time I hiked to it, if they don't know tear it down maybe even leave a note telling them it is against the law.

I am not being negative, I love that you can shoot up to a 1,000 yards good for you, I could never do that or really want too. I am not that skilled. but is that really necassary? if you are out of shape or have a disabilty I can understand this mentality but why would you want to? where is the hunt in this? I am a bowhunter to me it's all about how close you can get I have shot 2 javelina at 1 yard, a deer a 5, and have touch a pig and 2 elk with my bare hands I would have never been able to do this shooting long range, but I could careless what people think, I just have never gotten into the long range thing, not disrespecting you I just don't get it to me it's about how close i can get without the animal knowing I am there it's the rush to me it's about getting up close and personal.

7, 13, and 19 yards don't really know why you have to shoot them out past 40.

10 inches of snow last Monday, then 8-10 more this weekend, then around an inch of rain on Sunday night, and today another 8 inches of snow.

We received zero snow today in Flag, weatherman got it wrong again.

The snow is going to have way less impact then the guys that have been going out for the last four weeks, with the high price and demand for sheds everyone, and their brother and sister are going out looking for gold. With zero law enforcment people are going wherever they want. pushing the elk all over the country, it's really sad what people will do for money. I sell my sheds, always put it back into hunting but the money isn't why I do it. I love it more then hunting but the greed of americans has become so sad. tearing up roads knocking down gates. I hope it snows 50 inches to keep these low lifes out of the woods for awhile.

They always turn out this way because no one should be putting crap like man made plastic tanks anywhere on public land. Put it in your back yard or buy some land and do it. Better yet if guys want to hunt like that move back east and sit in a tree all day. I guess we should just put more roads in everywhere so the whole state can look like table mesa!!! Do you ever hunt dirt tanks? they are man made, do you let your mules drink out of these man made drinkers? Is there any difference between this an a man made Plastic Drinker? And with Mules why would you be anywhere near Table Mesa? With all the country in Az why go to a place where all the Valley Goes? What about all the Game and Fish Drinkers in the Wilderness should we tear them all down?

Go too Olsens grain and buy a plastic drinker 50-100 gallons paint it green and Brown and put it in some trees, the guides flying the unit won't see it and unless someone stubbles on it you can use it for years , 50 gallons up north will last you 4 weeks if there aren't cattle even in the summer months. remember to put a log in it sticking out aways so the birds and rodents can get out ,I wouldn't worry to much about what the forest service and Game and Fish think they really don't stray to far away from there truck.
