Thanks for the replies I am the guy next to the Big halibut. I will say that Sure Strike lodge runs a class act the food is great and the accommodations are great. The two fish in the middle are ling cod and when we caught the first one I wished I had my pistol with me they are creepy looking, if that thing was a land dwelling animal I would have second thoughts about hunting it. I will say as ugly as they are they taste as good as halibut if not better. There was a total of ten of us that went and each one of us brought back 100 Pounds of fillets . If you have an opportunity to go to Alaska go!!!!!!

Went to Alaska last July and I will be back in 2014. The 200 pound Halibut was like pulling a VW bug off the bottom of the ocean but what a blast.
