I did ….I refurbish / restore vintage machinery and this looked like a fun project. The only issue was someone painted over the crinkle paint and and it had some strange brown streaks in the paint like cigarette stains. So I striped it to bare metal degreased and applied two coats of primer then three of red paint and polished all the parts. Works like brand new.

Thanks they are pretty cool I am not a machinist but love these vintage Gerstner boxes.

Very clean MEC reloaded Model number is 8567 (Grabber). It needs the shell lifter these sell for $19.00 from MEC and bottles about $30. It can use a auto primer if you want to but works without one. These are around $100 on Amazon. It has the cloth cover to keep the dust out. I am asking $250, this model retails from MEC for $670 Location Scottsdale
