If you know there are bears in the area, then I would glass the area incessantly. How far away are you from the hillside? Shooting distance? Kidso is absolutely right, if you want to call. For glassing though, if you can see the whole area from one spot, then there is no reason to move, but I might say that is highly unlikely though. If you can't, then I would move down the canyon from vantage point to vantage point. If there is sign there, like you say there is, concentrate on that area. Hunt all day as well. You never know when a bear might get up from a bed to grab a bite to eat.

Have you guys seen these things for sale? They are a bino carrier similar to an s4 or Alaska guide creations, but vortex. I can't find them for sale anywhere.

Also, have you seen bears in the area or seen evidence of them?

Your are the 2nd person that I have heard mention that they saw a coues buck crawling. Another gentleman I spoke with told me he saw a buck from his treestand crawling through the tall grass. Wise critters for sure.

I put my cameras out this past February to see what bucks made it through the season. Been out hiking, glassing, hunting, and checking cams ever since. I shoot all year round and try to hit the gym 3 times a week. I GOTTA be out there doing something, no matter what time of year. During the "off season," I also backpack with my wife in potential hunting areas to see new country. When not out in the hills, I am an avid reader of hunting magazines and any hunting related books I can get my hands on. I have also been running a blog, www.dialedinhunter.com, that has been keeping me sane writing about hunting, haha. To say it's an obsession, might be an understatement. More like a way of life. Just got a new rangefinder, so I am selling my nikon prostaff 3. Works great. Ranges out to 550 yards. There are some MINOR scratches on the body, from normal wear and tear, but the glass and function is great. Asking $100.
