    New Draw

I’m not sure if this math is right or not. One bullet point states that you apply for however many of the hunts on ONE application form. It also says multiple applications will not be accepted. So does this mean only one app fee charge? Also, isn’t the way the draw works is that your application is given a random number for the drawing? If so, lucky guy that draws number 1 would have up to 6 hunts to go on…I know this can’t be correct but I’m confused by their verbiage.
  5. Nope. Quit doing that years ago…

  7. Ya…no. Like I said, zero interest in a guide. I will just go with what I had planned. Thanks for responses.

It’s a great thing watching your kids take things you’ve taught them and have success. Congratulations to you both!
  9. I appreciate the response but have no interest in hiring a guide. Just thought I might get some responses on tactics that people have used. Thanks again.

    Kudos to Yuma Marine

    Bad A$$
  18. I haven’t been out but have some buddies that have and the reports are horrible (SE part of state). I was also thinking there would be quite a few hold overs from last year, because I hunted the very end of the season and the numbers were really strong. Guess I was wrong…

    2023 Guideline Recommendations

Forgive my ignorance here but I see the term “crossguns”being used a lot in this thread. Is this a new term for crossbows or is this something different? FYI, this debate has been going on for over 20 years that I know of and I don’t really see much need for a change. Is there some big increase in the number of people hunting with them now in Az, or are we just looking for stuff to argue over? I have hunted ALOT of archery seasons and have witnessed very few people using crossbows in the field.

    33 experts, are the shooters?

IMO they are both decent bucks, not “trophy” bucks. The question of shooters or not is always up to the tag holder. If he looks good to you, and you would be happy to have him, then shoot without hesitation and take good pictures to look back on years later!
