Carried my cap and ball Cumberland Club around four days last week. I use 1 and a half pellets for 75gr and a Powerbelt projo. The cut pellet makes for an excellent surface for the ignition. No powder issues. However, I did have issues with the caps. The caps are not nearly as moisture resistant as the primers used in modern inlines. To make matters worse, they come in a tin that collects condensation like a sponge, put 'em in a pouch.. I've read there's a German made cap that's much more reliable but finding them aint so easy. I'll be converting the club to a primer fired musket soon.

Looking for owner. Found near Boyd Ranch off Scenic Loop, NE of Wickenburg. Scared little pup I believe is a German Shorthair Pointer, about 14-16 weeks old. Was pretty standoffish but a turkey sandwich brought him around pretty quick. Website not allowing pics to upload.

Hound owner found. Friend of a friend on Facebook recognized him. Thank you to Wish2Hunt and akaspecials for stepping up and offering the pup a home.

He had no collar or leash. We were working with loud equipment and didn't want him to runoff. This is a very remote area west of Stanton. Thinking maybe he was brought out days ago to get familiar with quail. Beautiful dog and after some chow and water he settled right in.
