I know it's been done, to each his own. That's nine Wilderness areas and a National Park to pack your bike through on the AZ Trail.

I thought mountain bikes are allowed but no motorized bikes but I could be wrong. No bikes

I hate this satellite bill, don't feel like I'm getting much bang for my buck. I can catch football and news by antenna but there's no high speed internet out here and I love the programs on the History Channel. So what options do I have if any?

I've done about a 1/4 of the AZ Trail and a portion of the adjoining Escalante on horseback, planning on doing it all. About 8 years ago while on the trail, camped with a hiker doing the entire AZ-Escalante-Continental Divide Trail well into Canada and documenting the trip daily via satellite to his website. Thought it was clever how he had mailed all his provisions to post offices along the route in advance. Me and some friends organized a search party for him when he went missing for several days in a late spring blizzard north of Happy Jack. Turns out he had hitchhiked into Flag and waited out the storm with help from some microbrews at the Beaver St. Brewery.

Some also get shocked while exiting the boundaries and learn they'll get shocked again if they return.

Four dead, six missing. Being in the water or even on the banks, slot canyons when there are storms upstream, not a good idea. http://www.fox10phoenix.com/news/arizona-news/268254417-story

This truck came from the factory with 4" blocks over the axles and 235 85 16s I put these 285 75 16s on and that's all the lift my tired azz needs...

That entire region had been under a flash flood watch for quite some time. Even without a cursory understanding of weather, it's difficult in this day and age to be disconnected with, TV, radio or smart phone apps belching out warnings.

yeah and a hamster could chew thru it. haven't looked at them up close but they were chain linkyears ago I owned a fence rental company and I only bought good, 11ga wire. Still I've seen bored pitbulls literally chew through it.

I don't have those problems, my gas gauge hasn't worked since I swapped fuel pump.

I lived in a rattlesnake infested property and my Heeler knows they are bad news. Now whenever I'm out and about, especially at night, I make a hissing noise and he hunts for them in the path before me, and he has alerted to many I was unaware of. I've learned that when shed hunting he will sit down beside an antler and wait. Now if only I could use the predator call with out him attacking me.

Must be the lost Hassayampa Herd.

In search of my first rifle I sold Savage FXP3 .233

I wish you luck. All of my rifles we're handed down. Several years ago in a lapsidazical moment, I sold my first inherited rifle to a friend. In time I realized what a mistake I made and fortunately my buddy had hung on too it and traded it back to me. Never do that again. -
I'm with Desert Schools too and nothing. But reading your post gives me hope.
