Was given a box of old Weaver scopes Sunday, , model 330 and K 2.5. The receipt was in the box. Perhaps the K 2.5 was to be mounted on the .06? Looked at the 1964 Montgomery Wards catalog to see if maybe the Springfield in question was a sporterized M1903, but the closest thing advertised was this Enfield for under $23.00. Those were the days...

This 760 was dad's first new gun, bought it in1952. The Weaver variable 1.5-3X was quite the bomb 70 years ago. We've taken so much game with it, its nicknamed the 'Meatpole.'

My '95 F250 has the I beams and an incredibly smooth ride for a truck. She just went to the garage last night, I suspect a dead HPOP. But at nearly a half.million miles on the beast, I can't complain.
