I belong to the Wickenburg Sportsmens Club east of the town. Its private and you have to live within 20 miles of downtown to become a member. There's several bays and cover for rifles and pistol, skeet. A thousand yard range and 3d archery course are in the works. The range is self regulated since it sits mostly dormant once the snowbirds and ropers head home. If you meet Membership requirements, have a member sponsor you, an RSO meets with you to judge your range and firearm safety knowledge. The club wants to have RSOs on hand at the range and will put any volunteers through the NRAs RSO course on the clubs dime. Eventually the range will have to be regulated by an RSO at all range times just to meet the town and insurance needs. Scores of club members stepped up and got certified to insure the range stays open.

The NRA RSO manual doesn't specifically mention .40 /10mm but it does say ammo must be designed for weapon in use. I can picture some loud mouth retiree screaming bloody murder if they caught the infraction.

USPSA Steel I've shot a Lotta .40 thru the G29 too, but at our range, it's a club violation and they can also pull my RSO cert. That might be embarrassing 😳

Even backyard chicken keepers are experiencing a laying shortage from their hens. There was a story last night on Tucker Carlson concerning the big companies like Purina changing their feed ingredients. You want conspiracy? The egg shortage started about the same time the 5G network came online. We keep chickens, ducks and turkeys and the hens definitely quit laying last fall even before these cold Temps set in. We're going to add some cat food to their diets and see if that helps. Our area bobcats aren't affected by the egg shortage. They're after our birds day and night. I have a surprise lined up for the furry bastards.
