    Leggy Blonde

I used to have a thing for the brunettes till I met my DeAnn. Mules name is Carlos Reavis Dos. Me and MulePackHunter Mike found him abandoned in the mountains last year. Mike has been working a lot with him and Carlos has come along ways. As you can see, Carlos is compact. But then most equines, buildings and battleship's look compact next to my big paint mare.

My experience tells me any horse can buck, can spook. But having had this mare 7 years, haven't seen it. I have seen her stomp a charging pit bull into the dust. Rather than take flight, she took a measurement and double barreled that dog in the head. That dog had gotten away with attacking horses before, but she quickly put an end to him.

    Good Guy Buyer List

Put AZHog on the list. He bought a side of pork of us Fri, was prompt and friendly too. Didn't even have to twist his arm too hard when cold ones appeared.

    Leggy Blonde

Ooops, forgot to mention, thanks. Can't recall what she sticked at, but I'd guess 15.2 or 15.3hh But she'd be a good 17hh with heels, lol. She easily clears a 5' rail jumping and has just enough cow pony in her to give her attitude around steers. She's not a timid horse, have never seen her spook. We're trying to cut down on the herd size, 10 is too many and this one is prime for a job. Will be selling and leasing others. Besides, I'm picking up a very sexxy mule from Mike Hughes today.

    Book to read

Was a good read. I believe Del only had a junior high school education but the contents of his horse packing and outfitting adventures kept my attention. Sending half broke pack horses on zip lines over raging rivers; heck yeah! Thanks, Mike

Dead deer in bottom of cave

The last time I saw a buck dead at the bottom of a hole, the hole was a dry AZGFD watering hole.

  11. This thread should be pinned for future references since surely additional hunters will share the same concerns. Now, back to the important work of clipping my toenails.

    tired taters

Here's something my redneck friends can appreciate. 1. Those old tires lying around, fill them with dirt and compost (cannot recommend dog turds, sorry) and stick a tater in the dirt. 2. Pull up a lawn chair, pop open a cold one and watch the magic, you were looking for an excuse to relax. You're now a potato farmer. 3. Once the tater sprouts up several inches or a little more than the tread width of your tires, add another tire, more dirt and compost. Pop open more cold ones, life ain't all about work... 4. Repeat step 2..... 5. Repeat step 2..... 6. Repeat steps 2 and 2. 7. Repeat steps 2 and 3. By the time the tater plants look like they're ready for a fourth tire, your hard work is over. Knock them tires over, gather up the spuds. Have your wife clean up the mess and bake the taters so she can say she helped too. 8. Find a good divorce attorney and join AA.

    tired taters

It wasn't easy repurposing that old tire, still had some tread left. But I know where its at in case of an emergency.

    tired taters

carrots, beets, radish, any root veggie. Oh and meth haha They're also great for raising Skeeter's n black widows, too. Can even catch rain water for them long AZ dry spells. So long as you don't mind your drinking water tasting like rubber bands n fan belts.

    tired taters

Yup, easier than tossing the tires over the fence at the neighbors yappy mutts, although not as rewarding.

    Snake gaiters

Thanks, guys Was riding with friends near Payson couple weeks ago and twice my horse shied. I asked my gf what's the problem, she told me there were rattlers buzzing away. From dumb pony to good pony!

    Snake gaiters

Some things change, realized a couple weeks ago I can no longer hear rattlesnakes. Maybe snake gaitors are in my future. However, will never join the 'pants optional' crowd. At least not until I'm warehoused.
