And if anyone knows of a palm tree trimmer far west side, lemme know.

Wasn't shed hunting but I find half my sheds just being in deer country, messing around.

Seeing hundreds of Gambels daily on my desert commute. Should be a good year.

I spotted it from the trail as I was riding my quad to work. As I was picking it up, an inebriated, lost, retired gentleman in a 35' motorhome stopped to ask directions. It's only 9am, drunk. If you've been to Anderson Mill, it's no place for motorhomes. I knew the fellow he was looking for and tried to tell them how to get there but this guy's wife wanted to argue about where they were. Meanwhile the drunk RVr told me a story about getting a flat from running over a shed. Strange morning.

Good find. I've driven past it a time or two but didn't recognize it. Would love to spend about a month metal detecting around it.

If so l know that'll piss off a certain somebody. Standby lol.

There's an adjacent adit that's partially caved in leaving maybe a 2'x3' entrance. I hate to assume genders but what appears to be a male lion or some other neopronoun identifying as a male has taken up housekeeping.
-
So long as you don't assume their gender. This one appeared about to give birth so it could have been male, female, gender fluid, non-binary or any of the other remaining 300 genders.

Coontail. They'll take on the mineral color of their surroundings.

The temptation had crossed my mind a different place a different time.

In rural Nevada the lights would indicate something completely different.

My alarm is set for 3a but this morning I was startled from sleep at about 130a by a flashflood alert on my phone. There were some pretty intense cells out Morristown and the Anderson Mill area of the Little San Domingo which is normally dry. The washes out there is how I drive to work. The NWS alert was interesting to say the least, wish I had taken a screenshot. The memo read: Danger of flasflooding in the area. All travel should be avoided unless fleeing the area. Wow, lol, that kind of got my attention. Drove out there later and there had been some flooding.

I took one of my dogs to avoidance class twice. She failed both classes. Appears flopping over like a fainting goat wasn't what the dog trainer was looking for.
