Whoa, wut? An additional $150? Glad I started this thread. Last time I had to replace string and cable on a bow was at least 16 years ago. Of course Sportsman's tried their best to sell me a 21st century bow but I declined. Seems the string and cable was around $75 with free installation. They even chronographef a couple arrows from it while I waited.

The Equinox has a gold mold and detects it on the same par as the Gold Monster. Placer gold in central AZ is 22kt. It's fairly simple to smelter into 24kt since it has such a low melting point. Most gold dealers will buy it.
