Yeah I read it. I'm wondering if he didn't like his pic taken due to.his skin disease? But the studio portrait I posted was 'allegedly' taken by his own wife Mollie. Buy these pics, much better provenance... https://www.tpt.org/antiques-roadshow/video/antiques-roadshow-appraisal-1886-cs-fly-photo-cards/ This article mentions the pic you posted. https://www.eacourier.com/history/did-you-know-the-man-who-photographed-early-graham-county-c-s-fly/article_ffcb5e3e-635e-11e8-bf04-a76758513671.html

Only two pictures of C S Fly are known to exist. The infamous shutterbug was camera shy. The article claims there are no photos of him, then posts one of two in existence.

All the cool stuff is on the eastside. Ever get north or west? -
No, looks fascinating and my birthday is next week... 😜 Have you? I'd like to learn about Geronimo's interaction with the Yaquis in the Sonaran region where my ancestors on dad's side ranched and farmed.

What happened to that guy?

Worse than that, I found images of myself printed on Western themed Christmas Cards being sold back east and online.

I think we found one. Thanks everyone.

Why on earth would it not count if they had a record of u completing it? Those amateur bueracrats.

Thanks. I recall the course well, took it with a couple friends at the Moose Lodge on the eastside. Dad would haul us there in a '68 Roadrunner then hit Jensens or some pawnshops. The field day was at the Tucson Rod and Gun Club.

Thanks for the link, had just decided yesterday to retake this. Apparently AZGFD, the NRA nor myself can produce the proof I took the course 50 years ago.

Just returned from GMU 8 and was delighted to see full tanks and water running in many creeks. Got dumped on from Paulden to Cordes. The monsoon is back from a short hiatus.

This is my dear old friend and neighbor in UT, Max Johnson. He shot this buck in 1968, but just found out a couple years ago that it's the #1 scoring Muley scoring in at 228..Neat story and couldn't have happened to a better man. Here's the story address, copy it, and paste, I don't know how to link it. www.sjrnews.com/view/full_story/9915043/article-World-record-deer-shot-in-San-Juan--42-years-ago?instance=home_news_1st_right

New SCI Buck Actually Shot Nearly Half Century Ago
Edge replied to Edge's topic in Mule Deer Hunting
12 or 13 years ago, Eastland got nearly 6' of snow early in the winter. Killed off a lot of the deer population. Yup, Spring Creek has a lot of the private lands locked up. I understand they charge top dollar
