  1. Many years ago before Marijuana was legalized,  several of us had packed into Lime Creek Cabin for a couple days. A pretty remote location with a year round spring fed Creek.

About 2a the first night there, we were awakened by the sounds of people hiking and talking loudly to one another. They were on a trail nearby heading north by moonlight.

Got creepy when we realized they were only speaking Spanish. One of the drunks in our party yelled out to them to STFU, which they did

Then he yelled out we had guns and shot a couple pistol rounds in the air. Some thought maybe it was a shift change or goods transfer at an illegal grow along the Verde.

  2. Welcome to AZ

In order to get out and enjoy the desert in summer you may need to adjust your hours.

I get up at 3a and hit the trails by 4a. I can work outside until around noon then head home. Still, I want the discipline to get up at 2a and enjoy another hour in the hills but it's tough.

34 a you can find a great deer close to the roads for uncle.     I know quite a few spots if u are interested.     I live in 34a

Thanks for the offer. I was raised in that unit but maybe I'll run into ya.

  4. I have an aging uncle residing in 34a. The unit was my first choice so I can get him out and behind some glass.

Next choice was in the Hualapai's. I don't know them but have been interested in land nearby and there's gold in them hills.

  5. I hate to sound selfish but this rain ruined my drywashing for weeks to come but man we needed it. Area rain gauges put us around 1.25" and I have a new pond in the back forty.

It’s desperate housewives of Wickenburg isn’t it?

Lol, no but.im sure they're out there.

Me and a buddy played bandits in a recreation of a gold heist. We found these great sombreros at Goodwill ahead of the filming. The director wasn't thrilled, we had to wear hillbilly headgear .

  7. I recently leased horses for a television production crew filming on BLM near Wickenburg.  BLM gave them permission to film and did not ask for a permit due to the low impact and small footprint of the activity.  They had a half dozen vehicles, a dozen crew members,  us and our animals, drones etc.

When the airing date approaches near, I may post again. Can't mention the show due to an NDA, but it's been on cable for years and seems pretty popular.
