Some airlines overbook much more than their rival carriers. Delta flew a quarter of a trillion passenger miles in 2015, ranking the company #2. But only had to bump 300 passengers all year. And when doing so, offered a far more generous compensation package than does United.
They know exactly how many they have sold. They are counting on several people to not show up. This is part of their business model, all airlines do it. If they didn't, flights would be more expensive.I was on United the other day coming back from Houston and the flight was overbooked. They asked for volunteers and about 6 people jumped up and volunteered. I have no idea how they can possibly overbook a flight. If I charge something on a credit card I get an email before I can put me wallet away. So they have to know how many seats have been booked.
When you book a flight get an assigned seat. Those without or bargain flyers are bumped first.

While a teen dove hunting in Marana, my eyes were on the sky as I walked down a path in tall grass. I don't know if the rattler was sunning or we just crossed paths but I stepped right on him mid back. He curled over and struck my boot as I was launching myself airborne. My shoot gun was already pointed downwards and I blasted that thing into thirds before I touched back down.
Had an unlucky mare bit twice in the same year on the leg. A little swelling was all that happened.

Anywhere in particular?I'm looking for an independent shop or mechanic that specializes in Ford trucks. More exactly, one who know alot about those dreaded 5.4 3v Triton engines. Maybe a Ford instructor?

Am I in the twilight zone or classifieds?

My son's friend in CA asked for a rattlesnake rattle. Since we were heading out to La Paz County, drove down a road I know is a hotspot for them...
We encountered 6 in about 2 miles of road.

Howdy and a prize... Well played, sir.If you had to pick one of the expos what would it be? Iv never been to either of them but am thinking about going with my kids. Any of them more kid friendly? Are either one of them more about "hunting" than the other?

cool info Lance, thanks. With buckeyes you set up your Cell Base up somewhere you have service, then you can set up to 254 buckeye cameras and repeaters off of that one cell base. Only the Cell base needs cell service. The 2 mile range is with standard antenna. I use some Omni, and Yagi antennas and have gotten up to 16 mile range. I know others who have gotten close to 30 mile range. Every camera can act as a repeater too. So if you daisy chain your cameras away from the cell base, the possibilities are unlimited!

Mulepackhunter loaded me some 70gr Sierra hpbt for the model 88 with 1 in 10 twist. Shoots 1/2" moa at 150 yards. Not bad for a 60 year old rifle that's had thousands of rounds down the tube.

Do we have our choice of sexes. Are you including castrating?
Who wants to go in on one or two?
Makes sense to go in on a couple, we have room and a livestock trailer

I think I've found a couple good safe spots. One is a small, small grotto in a cliff wall with a 150' wide sandy wash around it. I think the e caller is good for about 80'on a flank.I think I would want to be in a tree stand for that.
I had a bobcat sneak up on me during the daylight hours and it just flat appeared like it rose up out of the ground. I couldn't imagine a lion sneaking in on me at night.....

I've been going out at night for years. And yes the adrenaline really gets pumping and there is some panty wetting. Perhaps that's why I've only found a couple others willing to venture out at night.I've been calling coyotes and lion at night this winter.
I hunt just the same as I would in the day light. I scout a spot. I hike out to it. Except I have a 1500 lumen red led zoomable light mounted to my rifle....and I wet myself ever time I hear a noise.

So after dinner, was back to the river. Chased a bobcat out of our fishing spot but had to put up with a beaver trying to run us off all night. Only pulled in one of these, looked like a freaking alien.
