Its great to see everyone on this site always helping out. After getting a 20c tag by accident (signed up for the wrong hunt) these tips are helpful for me too ! I'll out there this weekend too.

Last year I lost a 8lb + Large mouth bass at one of the urban lakes. I had spotted him swimming around about 10 feet from shore and pitched a worm to him a few times but he didn't even bat an eye. After about the fifth cast I got snagged on some rocks half way between me and the fish. I was snagged bad and I could feel my line was about to snap so I started thrashing my pole back and forth out of frustration. Well that drove this bass absolutely nuts. He hit my worm so hard he toppled the rocks and freed my line. I set that hook and he started going airborn. I never had a bass jump that much but I managed to keep him on the line and get him to shore. Just as I reached down to lip him, he started thrashing again and spit the hook. I barely got to lay a finger on him, but he would have been my largest LMB and out of an urban lake no less.

I got a tag for 20c. Called my buddy to make sure he got a tag too and he said "I told you 20b not C". Oops...

Same here, multiple copies plus i email myself a copy so i can pull it up on my phone when needed. One for my pack, one in the bow case, gun case, tackle box, glove compartment and wallet.

Nice buck ! I'm still kicking around in 21 and seeing nothing but doe's. Told my self I wouldn't go onto to CWT and see what everyone else was putting down but couldn't resist. Still good to know there are some good bucks out here, congrats !

How about calls during Dec/Jan timeframe ? Anything effective for calling them in ?

Im heading out after work on thursday. Ugh ... why did I agree to work that day ? I'm sure I will be useless at work with its he hunt on my mind anyways.

I can't wait to get out there! Just a few more days left and its driving me nuts.

Cabelas didn't have anything worth using. I got caught up with my "honey do" list and didn't make it to map world either. Sounds like I didn't miss out. I'll have to print out a couple maps for now and find one on monday. That map from huntmap.com looks pretty sweet. Might see if they will let me pick up. My hunt starts next week.

Really I was just looking for a fold out map I could scrible my notes on when I go back out scouting tomorrown so no time to order from flatline. I think I'll see if anything at Cabelas will do since its close. Otherwise ill run by map world and have them print something out.

Hey guys, I was looking for somewhere I can buy a decent paper map of unit 21. I already have my Gps, but I wanted to have a paper map as well. Anything decent at Cabelas or Sportsman Warehouse? I heard G&F has decent ones but I don't think they are open on the weekends.
