Was wondering if anyone knows what the going rate is to put together from all parts an old savage 24. Any idea what the Yavapai College gunsmith school charges? Anyone ever use them? Wish I had the time and knowledge to do it myself but life is so busy. Would rather use the time shooting the finished product! 😀 Thanks.

Yeah, I consistently get $.30 per pound now. But it takes A LOT to make anything.

Yeah, prices sure have changed. Was getting $1.50 for cans, $.60 for plastic bottles, over $3 for clean copper. Kids were doing well a few years ago! Need to find a way to get neighbors to keep their cans for the kids! That way the kids can work a bit to collect and get a better understanding of putting in effort for a result. You know, capitalism, not socialism! 😀
