Pretty random, the deer were divided into 2 groups. Northern Coues and southern units. I don’t recall if there was a major difference between those groups. The areas with a lower population was more likely to have hybrids.

2 percent of Coues are hybrids based on genetic studies on almost 400 samples.

I found a dozen plus bucks but the biggest was around 90. It was the second day and I watched him and an 85 bed around 8:45. I passed on them at 390 yards and several smaller 3x3s. Most didn’t even stand up until an hour after sunrise. Some were still up until noon. I ended up killing a forky on the last day at 11:40. Pretty strange behavior from what I’m used to.

I will trade a brick of 210M (1000 primers) if we can work out logistics. I’m located in Tucson.

Wow. I hate rattlers, kill everyone that I can. Rock, shovel, shotgun, whatever. Wife was taking out the trash the other night (she’s a keeper) and I somehow heard her scream over the TV football game. Sure enough, we had another snake. Turned out there was 3 rattlesnakes within 20 feet of our trash can. Probably the last time she will be taking the trash for a while. Good thing she can mow the yard during daytime.

Well that sucks. Sometimes Doug will work with customers and magically find a “open box” item if you speak with him directly. Good luck. Jim
