For Sale Cooper Firearms Excalibur chambered in 280 Ackley Improved Cooper guarantees 1/2 MOA and this one does that easily. Close to 1/4 MOA at times It’s been hunted with but is in excellent overall condition. A few very light scratches on the barrel towards the muzzle. The stock is nice as well. Straight fluted steel barrel, spiral fluted bolt. Detachable steel magazine. Copper specs says 7.25 pounds, this one is 7.4 with the rail. I would estimate under 200 rounds fired. Comes with original box and Cooper paperwork. I also have 2 additional magazines that run $80 each new . $1700 with spare mags. That’s about 1/2 the price of a new one on their website. How meticulous are you with your RV? Renters for the most part feel like they have the right to abuse things. I look into renting my ski boat and decided not to. The rental place warned me “ it will never be the same”. If your RV is a little older and already showing use, give it a try. A decent renter will probably be a repeat and might refer other responsible people.

Congrats to everyone who drew tags. Curious as to what "group bonus point 1" means on my tag. I put in by myself this year and have a loyalty point for deer. I took the April hunter's education field day ( passed, LOL) and was assured that I would have the additional point before the June draw. Shouldn't my group bonus point be 2 ? Or am I looking at this wrong? thanks Jim

Well. I called G&F again today and was told that my account still doesn’t show the hunter Ed point. I was transferred over to hunter Ed department and actually spoke with a person this time ( usually just voicemail). She confirmed my info and added the point today. She also recommended that I send an email to the hunter education department so they could have IT work on the known “glitch”. Since I did draw a tag, it’s hard to Btch to much. Just seems like it could have been handled a month ago when I called twice.

LK37 Sorry to hear you didn’t get drawn this year. At least I drew a tag. My bet is that you hunter Ed point wasn’t in their system. ( Mine as well. ) My sons tag shows an average bonus point 2 . I’m thinking that would be loyalty and hunter’s Ed. Since he drew last year he wouldn’t have a species point. Let me know how it goes with G&F if you go that route. I have less to complain about since I did draw a tag, but they really should be able to keep our points up to date.

thanks lungbuster My portal still doesn't show the hunters ed point. G&F and the instructors claim that the points on the portal are not updated very often , but the point would be available for the draw. Seems pretty weird that it's not there and my average is 1.

GF was waiving the field day requirement due to lack of available classes. I believe that is still the case. It was posted on their website under hunter education. Youth will still need to take it eventually once classes become more available.

Figured it would be nice to start a new thread and share/brag a little. I knew something was up when my wife asked me “ what are your favorite 4 hunting pics of our kids”. I thought it was going to be a custom card or collage. Instead, she had a custom corn hole set made. Pretty awesome. This pic doesn’t show it but the ends of each board has laser engraved pics of the kids.
