Anyone willing to share some general advice on late rifle bull elk in unit 9? First time elk hunt for me, I’ve chased a lot of Coues but never hunted elk. Interested in things like best terrain, migration, effects of weather, etc. l plan on scouting some during the rut just to locate bulls, will they remain in that area or migrate by early December? I also plan on scouting again in mid November. (Hunt begins the day after Thanksgiving). If you’re willing to share some information, respond or message me privately. Thx, Jim
