  1. Ordered a new tandem 14ft trailer that arrived 4 weeks early and I need to sale this ASAP. This is a very strong 12 ft Carmate Trailer made in Pennsylvania. I bought it used about 13 years ago and it has been a great trailer but it is a hair too short for Polaris General. Brand new tires and spare. Tires are vehicle tires not trailer tires that fall apart after 2k miles. 2" ball. Has rear ramp and removable side gate (59 inches) to load vertically and horizontally. Inside Bed measurements are 12 feet long by 75 inches wide. I'm offering here first but will go up on Craigslist very quickly. Trailers are hot items right now. Have antelope hunt that starts this Friday so I may not answer messages right away. If someone wants to buy they can put $100 deposit down and I will hold until next week when I get back from hunt or if I get back sooner. Buy with confidence. $1200 obo cash No trades John 623-680-4458 text anytime or call after 3:00 during the week. North Peoria 83rd ave and Happy Valley area. my email: arizona_elk@yahoo.com Best to text

    Some People’s Attitudes!!!!

Most forums end up getting dominated by a few **cks and then people begin leaving. Look what happened to monstermuleys.com. I don't think it has very much to do with fragile egos. Most people just don't like to be around jerks. So they leave.

    Some People’s Attitudes!!!!

I agree and I find myself checking in less and less. I come here to get away from all the crap going on around us and "hang out" with like minded folks. Seems everybody has opinions about everything and wants to share them with everybody. Doesn't matter what forum either.

  9. No I am not the original owner but it has been used very little. I bought it off an older gentlemen who wanted it for the same reason I did. We both wanted a low poundage bow. Us old guys with bad shoulders have given up on pulling all those pounds. Bow is in excellent condition. shoots great.
  10. I put this back up to the top just in case you didn't see this great deal.
  11. Sorry for shaky pictures. I always get nervous when someone pulls out a camera.

Cali Gov penalties on hiring tutors

Same old excuse. Some people don't see the value in education and how it is an investment rather than a bill to pay. I certainly hope your pay is not at the bottom compared to people in same profession in all 50 states. If it is, how do you feel about that? The teachers union in AZ has no power at all. Back east in more traditional union states maybe, but not AZ. I only know a hand full of teachers who are members and it is mostly because they want the million dollar legal defense fund insurance in case someone tries to sue them. We are a right to work state so you might want to find another reason why you don't want to pay up. More money in teachers pockets will not make kids any smarter I agree but it will attract better quality teachers. If you don't understand that then there is no need to discuss anymore.

I agree, ACT is a better measurement when comparing student performance both in state and with out of state students. Everyone takes the same exam. Test is very well regulated and has many checks & balances in place. Next to impossible fabricate scores or cheat. Public schools have to take ALL students and can't pick and choose like private schools and charter schools. The Basis schools is a prime example of plucking all the best & brightest from public schools. Just try to get your child with an IEP or 504 into those schools. It ain't happen'n folks.

I disagree. Arizona is last in funding per pupil, yet we are ranked 34 nationally for ACT test scores. Seems like some good value there. Arizona is full of a lot of old people and others who don't want to pay because their kids are grown and gone now or they are just cheap bastards. Same people complain about how bad education is but don't want to pay up. We are last in spending folks, how much lower do you want to go? I suppose if we pay even less we will get better results? Great logic. I could understand complaining if we were at the top for spending but test results are at the bottom. But we are last in spending and closer to the middle in test scores. https://blog.prepscholar.com/average-sat-and-act-scores-by-stated-adjusted-for-participation-rate "Arizona ranked last in spending per pupil for instruction at $4,308 compared to $7,406 nationally.Jun 14, 2019

    Anyone up for Scouting 5B

I'm not good enough of a bowhunter to pick one animal and only hunt it. I usually choose a location and method that will give me the best chance to be successful. If I'm gun hunting then I will hunt a specific animal.

    Pronghorn and Water

I have an antelope hunt this year so I have cameras out right now. Two of the Three cameras consistently get antelope pics between 10:30 pm and 3:00 am. This kind of surprised me too because I have always heard to put antelope to bed and they will be within a couple hundred yards when the sun comes back up next morning. All the pictures are bucks and no does.

    What State

Since your family has been here so long, I imagine you are related to the Arnold's pickle family? I used to rope with some of them back in 70's.

    What State

Oh my gosh! All you guys that live in places I would trade my left nut to live at and you want to move?! Payson is in my top two or three places I would like to move to. What Yotebuster said about taking all the public land for granted we have out west is no small thing. I never really knew until I moved to Texas how much free land we have to roam in here in AZ. Seriously, you don't know what you got until it's gone. Now that grand kids are starting to be born, I don't think there is anyway I am going to get my wife to leave the valley for a small town some place in AZ. Probably die right here in Peoria.

    What State

The grass is rarely any greener on the other side. You like the western lifestyle and you live in Wickenburg! What could be any better than that? I was born and raised here but I have lived in NM and TX and the entire time I missed AZ. That being said, AZ used to be a great place live and raise a family but now everybody is from someplace else. When they come here and make their living here their loyalties remain where they came from. Have you ever noticed these people start every sentence with "Back home......"? If back home was so great why did you leave? I agree AZ is becoming more and more like SoCal by the day. California is like a cancer as far as I am concerned. Where ever these people go they try to change it to be like California. Stay in AZ, just don't live in the valley. Don't forget to buy your lifetime AZ hunting license before you leave. My two cents. Sorry for venting but I feel a little better now. Good luck on whatever you decide.

    Dear Arizona Game & Fish,

If you could sit down with the decision makers at AZGFD what recommendations would you make to improve things for the wildlife, hunters, hunting and the department without breaking the bank or impacting their generated funds? This is where I would start: 1. Make the application process less redundant. Why do we have to list our personal information every time we apply for a different species? Other states have figured out how to do this why can't we? 2. When applying for hunts, give the option of listing a 2nd credit or debit card in case the first card is rejected. 3. If the person who turns in or donates tag using point guard is the highest point holder on the application then in order to keep bonus points if they bought point guard 1.) everyone on application must turn in their tag or 2.) the person turning in tag does not get to regain all their points. If the person turning in tag is not the highest point holder on the application then they can keep their points and has no effect on everybody else on application. This will help with reducing the bonus point farming by allowing point farmers to use points one time instead of two. This should also help reduce or slow down point creep. 4. The archery deer hunts that you must get drawn for should be placed with the elk/antelope draw. This will allow the successful applicants have time to schedule time off work, scout, search for a guide etc. 5. Game camera season on public land (not private property). I know some people are really passionate about this topic but cameras would only be allowed from Feb 1st to August 15th every year. This still allows people time to use them but also give the animals a break. 6. Right now virtually every season ends on a Sunday. If a season ends on a 3 day holiday weekend that is a Monday, allow the season to end on Monday & not Sunday. What else?
