Coues are generally much more in pockets in nm vs Arizona. Except for a couple units -
Just use your bow during the rifle hunt if that’s what you got... I do it all the time

How come this stuff never makes news in AZ???

I’m a bit stumped by your reaction to me. I’m on your side here... you don’t think sometimes things go a little too far in the heat of the moment as a cop? You’ve never taken someone down a little harder then maybe you should’ve? Or pepper sprayed or tased someone, only to wonder later if it was completely necessary? I’m just saying that people need to comply with law enforcement. That’s what you guys do. It’s for everyone’s benefit. That cop got carried away. heck im human too. Maybe you’re so well trained, so level headed that going a little too far is unthinkable. But, most cops are humans, and it happens, even to the best of them. If that guy just answered the questions, and didn’t start stashing things and digging through his bag, which obviously and rightfully made that cop nervous, then none of this would’ve ever happened -

Sometimes more force then is needed is used to restrain someone. You know this, it’s not an exact science. again, I think he went a little overboard, but I have no problem with him using force. Also, I do believe you in fact have to identify yourself if a member of law enforcement asks -

In an ideal world, you’re right. But if you’re a cop and have never shown some frustration on the job,or gotten a little carried away, or been a little “unprofessional “, more power to ya. But you’re far and away the exception . Nads tasing is a little far though...haha. Just people looking for a handout -

The taser to the nuts thing was weird, I’m not defending that... all I’m saying is that public servants deal with unpredictable wackos all day every day. It’s easy for someone who hasn’t experienced that to say things like “he didn’t even have a weapon, why’d they tase him?”etc, but the reality is that in the moment you just don’t know. A lot better then “why didn’t the cop tase him when the guy pulled the gun out of the bag”... happens in the blink of an eye. Maybe the guy had a load of drugs he was desperate to protect. Or maybe he was tweaking and was totally unpredictable. Happens all the time. I’ve had weapons pulled on me at work, completely unprovoked, just because they’re a nut job/high.Aside from the weird nut zapping, they probably should have been able to control that guy with less force. But again, to those who haven’t had to forcibly restrain a crazy person, you never really know how smooth it’s gonna go. I just think that we hire law enforcement to do their job, if you have nothing to hide then you really have nothing to worry about. -

The job of a police officer is dangerous enough without idiots like that guy being difficult. I’m not saying the cop couldn’t have done some things better, but I totally understand why he wasn’t taking any chances. You never know who you’re dealing with or what kind of crazy stuff can happen. He could have easily pulled a gun out of that bag for whatever reason. You just never know. Can’t blame that cop for making sure he goes home that day.Anyone who works as a cop, firefighter etc who deals with sketchy, unpredictable people knows where I’m coming from. -

Maybe he should’ve just given his ID like he was asked...it’s obvious to me they were up to no good, I don’t see much issue here... -
Yeah I agree with you. Seen it many times. This pig is down out there somewhere, but it must be really hidden. I spend 4 hours combing through an extremely think area about 200x200 yards that I believe it has to be in, with obviously no success

Shot one this morning, looked for almost 5 hours and never found it. Ran right by my with arrow sticking out of it into a series of nasty drainages, and that was that. Placement was a little back but definitely lethal.Extra bummer, would’ve been my first success with a recurve. Started shooting it this year. Oh well, I hate losing animals. Bumped a herd and had a clear shot at a big pig on the hike out, but I’ve never felt right about losing an animal and shooting another the same day. Maybe tomorrow haha. That’s hunting.

I wish I had the money for these.... best archery hunting binos ever made...dang

I’m not flapping my gums. U of a is way worse this year then normal. ASU is probably the better team this year, for the first time in a long long time. Neither will win anything significant. Next year the universe will correct itself. Having said that , this was my favorite game of the year so far, that ball to Hurley’s face and the way he went down was priceless
-
Well it took the playing the worst Arizona team in 35 years for Hurley to get a win vs Arizona.... but they did win. Remi martins a pretty dang good player.a little disappointing, just like the whole season has been... BUT, watching Hurley get blasted in the face with the ball and flailing to the ground has me smiling ear to ear...that alone makes it feel like u of a won by 30

How about this thought....all of us on here are pro gun and pro hunting, obviously. And the more people in our country that are on our side, the less trouble we are going to have preserving those things we love. Is it really such a bad thing to have rinella as an ambassador to those people that are apathetic or never exposed to what we do? I'd be willing to bet that rinella would turn a whole lot more liberals into pro (or at least not anti) hunters then most people that many hunters think are great for our cause. Rinella is articulate, has great explanations for why we hunt and why conservation is so important, and he's willing to listen to other people's views.THAT is what wins people over! Especially versus someone like Ted Nugent, who is in your face and closed minded.those type of people only turn people who are on the fence about hunting/guns off to our cause ,which ultimately makes things more difficult for us,and as a result puts the things we want to accomplish,or keep,in danger.

I think you guys are jumping the gun big time. I definitely DO NOT claim to be one political party or another.i use my own brain and make decisions on issues that I believe are right, not what some guy in Washington tells me that I should think is right. And I'm an avid Hunter, and completely back what is best for hunting and conservation. I can hear some minds blown from here. Probably the minds that,at the direction of their political party, are supposed to be blown at a comment like this....

I just recently bought a Gregory baltoro 65. Couldn't be happier so far. Only time will tell, but so far I'm thinking I got twice the pack for half the cost( actually much less, thanks to eBay) of my hunting branded camo packs. I'd put the comfort and just overall quality up against any interal frame "hunting" pack I've come across. Just food for thought, I feel kinda foolish looking back at what I paid for average at best hunting packs instead of being a little wiser and opened minded
